Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited and restricted activities when using DiscountProxy.net and any proxy products obtained through our marketplace. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension, termination, and reporting to authorities where appropriate.
1. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your activities and for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms (including websites you access and Partner Provider rules). Proxies are neutral networking tools; misuse is your liability.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use our platform or purchased proxy access to:
- Engage in any illegal activity or facilitate crime (including fraud, theft, trafficking, or sanctions violations)
- Attack, probe, or gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data (hacking, credential stuffing, exploiting vulnerabilities)
- Distribute malware, ransomware, phishing, or spam
- Harass, threaten, or harm individuals or groups
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights (including unauthorized scraping where prohibited by law or contract)
- Circumvent security measures on networks you do not own or lack permission to test
- Operate botnets, DDoS attacks, or traffic amplification abuse
- Access or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation content — zero tolerance; we report to relevant authorities
- Impersonate DiscountProxy, Partner Providers, or other entities to deceive users
- Resell or share account access in ways that violate our Terms or provider licenses, unless explicitly permitted
3. High-risk activities
The following require strict legal compliance and may be restricted or blocked if they create abuse signals:
- Large-scale web scraping or automation — respect robots.txt, rate limits, and site terms where applicable
- Creating fake accounts or evading platform bans on social networks, marketplaces, or financial services
- Ad fraud, click fraud, or impression manipulation
- Bypassing geo-restrictions to access content in violation of copyright or licensing agreements
4. Platform integrity
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass wallet, pricing, or authentication controls
- Use stolen payment methods or proceed with chargeback fraud
- Overload our API or infrastructure through unreasonable automated requests
- Reverse engineer or scrape our dashboard to harm the service or competitors
5. Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor aggregate usage and investigate suspected abuse (including fraud alerts, provider complaints, and legal requests). We may suspend accounts, withhold fulfillment, or terminate access without refund where this AUP or the Terms are violated.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse originating from our service, email [email protected] with relevant logs, URLs, timestamps, and contact details. We review good-faith reports and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
